Happy 2009, all!!

Guess what? Auditions for professional ballet summer programs are here!!  And I discovered that there isn’t much to post during the year when there are no performances, so until like the end of January, I have basically nothing to say. I went to a drop-in with some adult class thing today, it was funny because I was the only kid in there.  No other kids came today even though they came on Friday. Sad…

I feel like dancing.  So like yeah.

It’s been a while…

Heyz yeah it’s been a while, a LONG while, sorry. So today I was looking in DANCE magazine and they had lots of summer program audition things. it’s kinda scary how close they are to now. wow. one of them is on December 14.

WORKSHOP!!

Heyz yeah we had a workshop  Fri., Sat., and Sun. and it was FUN!! My feet hurt a lot though because it was en pointe for those who could… so OUCH!!

Oh yeah they casted the parts that they didn’t cast at the casting call!! Woooo!!

Casting Call!! and Confusion?

So yeah today we had our casting call, and everyone got their parts and yaddayadda, but I’m confused because they left out Spanish and Arabian Corps… I don’t know why though… maybe they aren’t doing it this year, or maybe their e-mailing the dancers who will be in those, but i don’t know.  I was just confused.  So that’s all I have to say.

Hey I know I haven’t posted in a while, I was busy with school, dance, etc.  So school is started, dance is happening, and rehearsals for the Nutcracker have started!!  Yay!!

I don’t have much to say right now, but I’ll keep posting!!

SCHOOL, FALL CLASSES, AND THE NUTCRACKER!!

OMG SCHOOL IS IN 1 and a half DAYS!! I am soooo not caught up on my sleep yet!!

And fall classes start on the first day of school!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!  It’ll be the first time en pointe for me in like a month!!  (Jaws music)

The Nutcracker is coming up!!  Apparently the upper division is already cast, so I’m nervous/excited!! I’m pretty much fine just being IN IT though!!  I  LOVE the nutcracker!! (Well, i pretty much like all ballets, but the Nutcracker I’ve been in the most– I can’t have the holidays without the Nutcracker!!)

So…….. that’s it.

More Drop-Ins!!!!

So this week on monday I went to a drop-in but on Tuesday and today, Wednesday, the teacher that was supposed to be teaching wasn’t there because now there’s a new baby girl in the world!! Yayz!!

So a different teacher taught, and tomorrow is my last drop-in!!!! O_O  School is in 6 and a half days!!!!! OMG!!!!

Fall Classes

So fall classes are starting soon!! On the first day of school…

Summer’s almost over!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have to catch up on sleep!!

And I have to study, get tanner, get my hair lighter in the sun, find a first-day worthy outfit, gather all my school supplies, think of ways to decorate my locker, etc.

2 Drop-Ins and Tomorrow

So yeah yesterday I went to a drop-in and the people from my old dance studio were still there, I don’t really know what they’re doing… And today I went to another one, and some of my friends were there!!! (hi people from dance that I know but I won’t say your names!!)  Woot!!  So tomorrow I won’t go to drop-in, sorry people…. I have some other stuff to do and I need a break.

Pink calculators are cool. but are they too cool for school? (I’m seriously asking you, ppl….  ANSWER PLEASE!!
